Personal data is only processed to the extent necessary to provide a functional website as well as my content and services.

4. Contact Form
If you send me inquiries via the contact form, the information you provide (name, email address, subject, message) will be stored and processed for the purpose of handling your inquiry and any follow-up questions.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures or contract performance) as well as Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries).
The contact form is technically provided via the Contact Form 7 plugin. The form data is sent by email via an SMTP service.
Data transmitted through the contact form remains with me until you request its deletion, withdraw your consent to storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g., once your inquiry has been fully processed). Statutory retention obligations (in particular under tax law) remain unaffected.
5. Google Maps
A map from the Google Maps service is embedded on the Contact page of this website. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
As soon as the page containing the embedded map is accessed, a connection to Google’s servers is established, through which Google may collect your IP address and other information about your usage behavior. It cannot be ruled out that data may be transferred to the USA.
This use is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in an appealing and easily accessible presentation of my location).

6. Server Log Files / Hosting
When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically collects technically necessary information transmitted by your browser (so-called server log files). This includes in particular:

This data is used for the technical provision and security of the website and is not combined with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and security of this website).

This website currently does not use analytics or tracking cookies (e.g. Google Analytics) or advertising cookies. Only technically necessary cookies are used, which are required for the operation of the website (e.g. WordPress session management).

For security reasons, this website uses SSL encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the browser’s address bar switching from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock symbol.
