Glad to see you here,

I’m Julia Jainöcker – your media designer.

I originally come from the business world of my former profession and from artistic activity in my free time. These two qualities ultimately led me to media design.

My training in media design is based on the diploma program at BFI Vienna and the diploma course at WIFI/Werbeakademie Österreich. During this time, I already carried out numerous hands-on projects in graphic design, web design, and digital media, gained experience, and independently developed creative solutions.

What matters most in my work are the questions of how we perceive the world and how design can change that perception. To me, design means more than making something look good or function well. Every design choice is a decision. It can create order, direct attention, evoke emotion, explain something, or open up a new perspective. It’s exactly this interplay of chaos and order, transience and creation that I strive for. Perhaps that’s also where my personal connection to art comes from, since I’m also a passionate painter. In my work, very different things come together: design, art, mathematics, history, and music. They each have their own structures, rhythms, and forms of communication. What interests me is what happens when these fields are combined and something new emerges from them.

Do you have questions for me? Feel free to get in touch directly.

Yours, Julia Jainöcker of JainDesign.
